• Biggest Recruiter - Indian Railways, is the biggest recruiter in India. It has over 1 million employees. Almost Every year Indian Railways announce lakhs of jobs for graduates, 10+2 & 10^th pass candidates. 
• Exam conducting bodies – 
  • RRBs are mandated with the responsibility of conducting recruitment to all Group C (Technical and Non-Technical) post 

&

RRCs are given the responsibility of conducting exams for Group D recruitment.

There are total of 21 RRBs and 16 RRCs. 

• Recruitment to Group A and B posts in Indian Railways is done through Civil Services and Engineering Services Exam (ESE)
